Driving Inclusion in Adult Education: Our Role in Learning For All

We’re excited to reveal that our organisation is a full partner in Learning For All, a European-level initiative aimed at enhancing access to learning opportunities for adults—especially those from vulnerable groups such as migrants, refugees, and low-skilled learners. The project confronts systemic barriers in adult education (cultural, policy, institutional) and works to develop concrete tools and practices to support inclusion. Learning For All

In this initiative, we do more than just participate — we lead dissemination and communications efforts, and engage deeply in every project output.

What Learning For All Seeks to Do

Learning For All is structured around three key work strands:

  1. A Digital Benchmarking Tool to help adult education institutions assess and improve their levels of access and inclusion

  2. A Community Outreach Toolkit focused on effective strategies for reaching socially marginalised adults, bridging linguistic and cultural divides

  3. A Capacity-Building Online Course and Hub, combining modular learning content, success stories, multilingual collaboration, and community interaction

These dimensions reflect a holistic response: institutional self-assessment, outreach practices, and continuous capacity building.

Our Role & Contribution

Here’s how we’re actively participating:

  • Leading Dissemination & Outreach
We are responsible for designing and executing the communication and dissemination strategy. This includes stakeholder engagement, coordinating across countries, translating materials where needed, managing visibility efforts, and tracking uptake and impact.

  • Contributing Across All Outputs
From the Benchmarking Tool to the Outreach Toolkit to the Capacity Building Course, we bring expertise in inclusive design, educational content, digital platform development, and multi-lingual accessibility. Our team is involved in co-creation, review, testing, and iteration.

  • Ensuring Quality, Relevance & Sustainability
We apply rigorous quality assurance measures, ensuring that every deliverable is user-centred, feasible in diverse contexts, and capable of lasting impact beyond the project lifespan.

  • Leveraging our Networks
We mobilise connections with adult education centres, NGOs, community groups, migrant support networks, and policy stakeholders to pilot, promote, and sustain project outputs.

Why This Matters

In adult education, barriers often lie not only in funding or willingness, but in information, outreach, institutional inertia, and exclusionary practices. Learning For All seeks to close that gap by empowering organisations to self-reflect, reach untapped learners, and build internal capacities. Our engagement means the project is anchored in real contexts, responsive to on-the-ground needs, and positioned for broader uptake.

What’s Next & How You’ll See Us

Over the coming months, you’ll hear more about:

  • The launch of the Benchmarking Tool, with guides and pilots

  • Publication of the Community Outreach Toolkit, adapted to different contexts

  • The rollout of the Capacity Building Course and Hub — modules, forums, multilingual support

  • Regular dissemination campaigns, webinars, and stakeholder events where we help surface and promote best practices

We look forward to combining forces with the other partners to push for more equitable and open access to learning. Stay tuned — we’ll be sharing resources, stories from pilots, and invitations to get involved.
